'Someone always comes to the rescue': Adorable blind cat loudly calls out whenever she needs help, and one of his favorite feline friends always comes to the rescue

One thing that we wish we could learn from cats is their ability to face literally any challenge. It doesn't matter what it is - whether it's an animal in their backyard that they have to stand up to or our laptops sitting in our cat's spot on our lap that they have to topple, they will face it. Even the biggest challenges, like being born different than other cats, doesn't stop them from living their lives to the fullest. Blind cats will go through life not knowing and not caring that they can't see, they will still cause chaos. Deaf cats will scream their little heads off to get attention without giving a heck about how loud they have to be. Cats born with three legs will still have top-speed zoomies in the middle of the night. 

And if they need help, our cats will make sure that they get it, no matter what they have to do. Like this cat. She needed help, so she screamed until she got it. It's that or maybe she just likes the attention, and this is her way of getting it. Either way, it works.

    modsarefascists42 My cat does the same thing when he's alone in the living room. But he's not blind he's just lazy and needy. Hr starts doing the most weird low pitched wines too.

    Used2BPromQueen My cat leaves my bedroom at 4am every single morning to go downstairs and then wails her kitty lungs out because she's lonely. I don't understand. Why doesn't she just stay upstairs? Or come back upstairs? It's absolutely mystifying. And annoying.

  • Ever since we learned that in the wild, cats only ever meow when they are kittens or at their kittens, the fact that they do it with us every single day has become one of our favorite things about them. Sure, it's annoying when they scream for fifteen minutes in a row for food, but it's also cute, and yes, we are totally whipped for them.

    SilverBeech Hr starts doing the most weird low pitched wines too. This is a cat's way of saying "come here, I've got food!". Mother cats do it to call kittens to show them how to properly kill mice. Your cat is either trying to teach you to hunt (because, lets face it, you totally suck at catching catnip toys), or has given up and is just calling you to dinner, because, again you totally suck at the hunting thing. Obviously.

    sxan That's not because they're blind. That's he "I killed something, everybody come see." Every cat we've had does this, always with a toy. It's a very distinctive, throaty call, and it's often at 2am.

  • Ah yes, the 2AM call when our house cat who never goes outside has finally conquered our favorite plant and desperately needs to show off his conquest. one of our favorite things in the whole wide world. You really do need to be whipped for cats to love them as much as we do.

    Regallybeagley That's just a regular friday night for my girl :) she isn't blind but the second my husband puts on COD she grabs her toy and masquerades it around the living room.. all I hear is cat screamings and battle noise

    baldandfullofrage I had a blind cat. He would walk around my room once he got to know it, and meow really loud when he wanted me. Soon as I touched him he stopped and started purring. He would climb up on my bed and stand on me, but if the covers were over me he wouldn't know that I was there so he would meow, then I'd pet him from under him and he would get confused. He would always try to climb up to the highest spot on my bed
